- We've updated the event discovery experience to be muted by default. This means the app will be silent when you open it. Tap the audio icon in the lower right corner or dig deeper for full audio.
- Added Picture in Picture mode for video playback on iPad Pro, iPad mini 2, iPad Air and later.
- You can now start a live broadcast or search directly from the home screen using force touch. Available on iPhone 6s and 6s Plus only.
- Visited accounts, events and videos are accessible from the Spotlight search.

- Major design update to Broadcasting, which simplifies going live. Just press ‘Go Live’ and start streaming regardless if you have an event set up or not.
- Create Events in just one step. You can now assign a category to your event and improve it’s discoverability.
- Event posters have changed aspect ratio from 9x16 to 16x9. Allowing you to use standard video images.
- Redesigned the Event Page to make it easier to edit, post to and publish your event.

- A new home screen displays curated events based on what our community is watching and what the accounts you follow are streaming.
- An improved menu navigation that supports an enhanced discovery experience.
- New categories allow you to discover events in categories you’re interested in, brought to life in rich, auto-playing feeds. Open the menu to browse by category.
- We now show you thumbnails of the live video as well as video uploads.
- Chromecast is now easier to use. Select a live stream or video on demand and tap the Chromecast button to start streaming to your connected device. Feel free to browse the app while you’re streaming.
- Search now includes videos so you can find a stream you might have missed more easily.
