About MazePseudo

Bugs. There are bugs in the computer. No, not those kinds of bugs. These bugs crawl. Well, that is what the boss says. The boss laughed after that, almost as if that was not the whole truth.

The computer core is smaller than you can see with your human eye. This is your remote control app. With it you can move around the computer core using the left hand control. The right hand control releases a ball that captures bugs. Be careful of the balls. If you touch them, you will loose a charge. If you run out of charges, then your work shift is over. As long as you have charges, your viewer will be placed in a random location inside the computer core. There are also holes in the computer core that are allowing the bugs to come in. The boss pays a bonus for using a ball to plug one of the holes. Once you completely clear a core, you will move to the next core.

The boss also thought it would be entertaining to occasionally send several of us in at the same time. Just to keep us on our toes, hitting a coworker with a ball nets you extra points. Multiplayer only works with others in your local wi-fi area.

-Update to support the iPhone X.
-Update to better fit maze to some devices, i.e. iPhone 6 Plus. Other devices should have a better fit as well, with your view of the maze being as large as possible and drawn as crisply as possible for your device. This along with the changes for the iPhone X should better future proof for devices with a size different from current devices.
-Fix issue where you were seeing more of the maze in the view to the left and up than you were to the right and down. This meant that previously you could see someone else before they could if you approached them while they were to the left or up from you.
-Change minimum supported iOS version to 9.0. This drops support for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, and 4th Generation iPod Touch. All devices that support iOS 8.0 also support iOS 9.0.
-Update loading view and launch images to use outlined text instead of black background.
-Adjust size of maze used as background for launch images to be similar to generated background.

Summary of changes:
* Network communication is faster and encrypted. This allows for faster moving and shooting for both single player and multiplayer games. Networking in this version is incompatible with prior versions.
* Added pop-down messages when player is disrupted or when a player closes a hole. Tapping message will cause it to go away quicker.
* Default maze size is smaller. Maze size can be customized in settings.
* Support for MFi Game Controllers. When using a form fitting game controller, the view will be locked to landscape with the home button on the right. When game controller is in use, the on screen control pads are hidden if not assigned a control function.
* Added in-game help page.
* Corrected bug where when you are moving when a round is over, you continue to move in that direction when the next round starts.
* Enlarged some of the buttons for the menu and other game navigation control points.
* Allow to disable Game Center checks. Game Center is not required to play. Disabling this in settings will no longer attempt to log into Game Center, where you had to cancel to continue previously.
* Game will no longer allow iOS device to sleep while game is active.
* Corrected bug where the game got out of sync when more than two people played in a multiplayer game.
* Corrected bug where players were given an extra life in multiplayer games.
* Clients to a hosted multiplayer game now can see who else has joined the game.
* Removed support for Bluetooth connectivity. This caused lower performance than acceptable.
* Corrected bug causing blank screen to show after launching game but before menu was showing.
