About MediaCentral | Collaborate
Avid MediaCentral | Collaborate for iOS enables individual or team workflows in which Topics, Assignments, and Tasks revolve around a specific story or central concept. Connecting your mobile device with other mobile users and your office’s central hub, the app enables you to update multiple aspects of the project – allowing you to stay agile as your concept evolves. View or play media assets that have been added to the topic or assignment. Use status menus to communicate the current state of the concept to all associated users and configure app notifications to let you know when you have been added to something new.

New to Assignments, the Tasks feature acts as a virtual “to do” list to help you manage individual aspects of the assignment
Filtering and Sorting controls make finding tasks and assignments much faster and easier
The Only My Stuff button instantly filters the Planner to display only items to which you are assigned

· Home button has been moved to the top of the screen to allow better and faster access for the user
· Create an assignment directly from a Topic this will then be automatically assigned to this Topic
· Highlight the current user in the topic and assignment to allow users to quickly see where they have been assigned
· Out of office user will be shown with a purple indicator on avatar and the user can set their out of office in the profile page
