NeoBili er udviklet til at hjælpe læger, sygeplejersker, jordemødre og øvrige sundhedsfaglige til initiel vurdering af ikterus/hyperbilirubinæmi hos nyfødte med en alder op til 2 uger. NeoBili er baseret på vejledningerne i Dansk Pædiatrisk Selskabs (DPS) retningslinje: ”Behandlingsstandard for neonatal hyperbilirubinæmi–en introduktion” (januar 2012).

Efter indtastning af barnets fødselsdata og bilirubin værdi målt ved blodprøve (TsB) kan NeoBili oplyse barnets lysgrænse og dertilhørende vejledende anbefalinger. NeoBili giver også mulighed for at vise den pågældende placering i DPS’ figur med kurver for lysgrænser samt placering i Bhutani’s nomogram for risikozone.
