About Nueva Esperanza RV

Nueva Esperanza es el sitio arqueológico más grande excavado en la historia de Colombia
hasta la fecha. Es una terraza natural a 2.596 metros sobre el nivel del mar y de
aproximadamente 22 Hectáreas que se localiza en la vereda Cascajal en jurisdicción del
municipio de Soacha. Este lugar condensa más de 2000 años de historia en su interior, en
él habitaron poblaciones humanas desde el año 400 antes de la era cristiana hasta cerca del
año 1600 de nuestra era. A través de varias generaciones, los pobladores de Nueva
Esperanza usaron el mismo territorio como su morada permanente, plasmaron su historia en
él y lo transformaron a través de sus actividades cotidianas. En ese territorio construyeron
su mundo y sus creencias, cultivaron la tierra y enterraron a sus muertos. ¡Acompáñanos a
descubrir la fascinante historia que tiene por contarnos Nueva Esperanza!
