About NXP Rapid IoT

This app allows you to play, tinker and develop with your Rapid IoT prototyping kit, taking your IoT idea to proof-of-concept quickly and easily.

Play. The Rapid IoT prototyping kit comes with several pre-loaded factory applications for a quick and easy out-of-the-box experience. Use the app to scan for your kit using Bluetooth Low-Energy, select an application from the menu, and stream data to/from the Rapid IoT prototyping kit from/to your mobile device. Pre-loaded applications include:
• Weather station including air quality monitor
• Thermostat
• Tilt/Fall detection
• Low-power motion detection
• Tap converter
• RGB LED

Tinker. Use Rapid IoT Studio, our cloud-based IDE, to create your own feature-rich mobile app that can communicate with your Rapid IoT prototyping kit using Bluetooth LE. Create dashboards and customize your program in the Rapid IoT Studio, then use the mobile app to view your newly created application and stream data from your Rapid IoT device.

Develop. The Rapid IoT Studio allows you to create apps for iOS. Continue to polish your app in the Rapid IoT Studio, or download the source and enhance your app in your favorite Apache Cordova software.
