A bit about the technology:
Tor (abbr. From the English The Onion Router) - free and open software for the implementation of the second generation of so-called onion routing. This is a proxy server system that allows you to establish an anonymous network connection that is protected from listening. It is considered as an anonymous network of virtual tunnels, which provides data transfer in encrypted form.
• With Tor, users can maintain anonymity on the Internet when visiting sites, maintaining blogs, sending instant and email messages, or working with other applications that use the TCP protocol.
• Anonymous traffic is provided by using a distributed network of server-nodes. Tor technology also provides protection from traffic analysis mechanisms that endanger not only privacy on the Internet, but also confidentiality of commercial secrets, business contacts and the privacy of communication in general.
