About Pharos Secure Release
The Secure Release app makes it easy for employees of organizations with Pharos Secure Release to print securely across networks to any Pharos-secured device on the network, improve the printing experience, ensure document confidentiality, and reduce waste.
You can submit print jobs on your mobile device from any location or network, modify your job list within the app at anytime, and when it’s convenient, you can walk up to any secured printer and use the app to scan the QR code affixed to the printer to release your print job(s).
This secure and intuitive workflow prevents sensitive information from being left unattended on printer output trays. It also improves convenience by allowing you to securely release your documents at any secured printer in your organization’s network.
Note: This app requires a Pharos Cloud Secure Release account. iOS versions 12, 13, and 14 are fully tested and supported.
To use this app:
1) Register the app using the Pharos Secure Release Setup Guide provided by your organization.
2) Follow the steps provided in the setup guide to enable mobile submission.
3) Print as you normally do from your workstation or iOS device.
4) Open the Secure Release app.
5) Walk up to any secured printer on the network and scan the QR code on the printer (The QR scanner will appear automatically when you have documents in your queue ready to print).
6) Select which documents in your queue to print or print all jobs immediately; there is no need to touch the printer interface.

The Sentry Print mobile app now includes a "Print a Test Page" function. On iOS devices, this simplifies the configuration for first-time print users by handling authentication up front. Subsequent print documents will no longer prompt the user for their credentials by using the pre-authenticated information, allowing users to quickly and easily print documents when they need.
