Project Previews

1. Product Description

The application will be used when customers are indecisive or hesitant in buying a product. Previews will show them the product details, price, and reviews from other users with just one scan. Furthermore, if users are not satisfied with the result of their search, Previews allows users to leave product details and reviews themselves as well, so all the information shown in our application is constantly updated and adapted to the changing market.

The key advantages of Previews is that it’s free, fast, secure, easy to use and great for all kinds of users with diverse abilities. The full Previews application is available for free, which helps gather users easier than barcode scanner applications that offer “premium” features. Users can get the results in less than a second after searching. Security is also important to Previews. We do not require users to link their Google or Facebook account, so there is no potential threat or uneasiness for users and their personal information.

Previews is also easy to use. Users are required to create an account to use the app, which simply requires a username and password, along with an email if they chose to protect their account. The only action our application requires is scanning barcodes or entering keywords. Furthermore, Previews is also user-friendly. There are three themes in our application, which are designed for all users of different ages, genders, and even people who have eyesight disabilities.
