About RACV Car Share
The RACV Car Share App allows you to find and locate a RACV Car Share vehicle across Metropolitan Melbourne vehicle to book and use for up to 4 consecutive days. This quick and easy experience allows you to search by dates and times and find available Car Share vehicles. You can also sign up to be a user of the service via the app.
The App includes the following features/menu:
• Book - search for Car Share vehicles, dates and times
• My bookings - view upcoming and previous bookings. You can also extend your booking
• Key - Start/End booking and unlock/lock the vehicle using the App using both Mobile data / Bluetooth technology (When there is no / low mobile coverage).
• Account - Edit your profile information, my billing allows them to view past invoices
• Report Damage – You can report any damage to the vehicle via the app by uploading a photo.
• FAQs – a detailed list of frequently asked questions
• Contact us - A Direct link to the customer call center who are always willing to help with any enquires.

Have you ever been in a car park or a rural area with no or low mobile coverage and had trouble unlocking or locking the car? Not anymore, as RACV Car Share now has Bluetooth enabled in both the app and the cars. You can now lock and unlock your car using the app via Bluetooth. Make sure you have your Bluetooth turned on to utilize this feature. We have also provided the ability for you to report any damage to us via the app as well, by clicking on the “Report Damage” button once your booking has started.

Welcome 2020. We have been busy over the holiday period and have listen to your feedback. In this update, you can now extend your booking via the app. There is no reason to call us now, you can do it quickly via the app. We have also made some stability updates.
