Masternaut has launched a new iPhone/iPad version of its market-leading web-based vehicle tracking service. The ground-breaking Rapide app for iPhone and iPad brings the full functionality of the always-on fully-managed Masternaut service to managers on the move, allowing them full access to vital operational information whenever they are away from the office.
Making real-time and historic vehicle information instantly available to busy managers on an iPhone or iPad enables them to better manage the fleet, which in turn boosts productivity, increases efficiencies and improves customer service.

Version 3.0 sees a major improvement for the iPad version :
- The app now takes full advantage of the iPad screen-estate and splits the screen in two. Vehicle list and journey detail on one side, map on the other side.
- Great interaction between left hand side and the map. No need to switch tab anymore.
- Less critical screens (journey date, alert, settings...) open in an unobtrusive popup
- You can still enjoy a full map view by holding the iPad in portrait!
The iPhone version has also been improved with the following new features:
- It's now possible to tap on each stop of the vehicle journey to view its location on the map
- You can now filter vehicles by group (option in settings)
- Overall stability improvement for older iPhones 3
