About Roadside Heritage Journeys: Our Families, Our Stories, Our Land

Experience Paiute Shoshone storytelling with visually stunning photo stories narrated by elders of the Lone Pine Paiute Shoshone Tribe and the Big Pine Tribe. For those interested in the cultural heritage of Native Americans living in the Owens Valley, California, the Roadside Heritage Journeys: Our Families, Our Stories, Our Land app provides an intimate look at changing Native American lifeways and traditions of the 19th and 20th Centuries.

- These family stories portray the region’s multicultural history and are accessible to all those interested in studying or traveling through the Eastern Sierra.
- Features three categories of stories, reflected in our title, for easy navigation.
- You may also turn on an introductory video in your iPad’s general settings: Settings>RH Journeys. Combined with turning on Guided Access, this app could function as an educational kiosk.
