About ROG South Africa

ROG South Africa is an interactive app that offers a prize to attendees of the South African computing and gaming expo, rAge 2016. The app will only be functional for expo participants from approximately 3 days before the event to the close of the event – a total of 6 days.
ASUS, has commissioned the app to allow expo-goers complete tasks, or levels, that allow entry into, and advancement through, the competition. The participant with the highest point score will be the prize winner. If more than one participant shares the high score, the winner will be chosen randomly from the pool of high scores.
Briefly, the mechanics consist of ‘levelling up’ by completing tasks that relate to the app, rAge 2016, and the ASUS brand. These levels are as follows:
LEVEL 1 – Download the app and register
LEVEL 2 – ‘Like’ the ASUS and ROG Facebook pages
LEVEL 3 – Take a selfie with an ASUS cosplayer at the ASUS LEVEL UP stand
LEVEL 4 – Demo a machine at the ASUS LEVEL UP stand and scan the QR code
LEVEL 5 (Bonus level) – Buy any ASUS product from the vendor station at the ASUS LEVEL UP stand
Points will be allocated to the completion of each level, with repetition of levels 3-5 attracting extra points.
