About Saucon Map

Saucon Map brings the TDS map to the iPhone and iPad platforms in a native app form that behaves just like default map applications. No need to be tied down to your desk anymore, receiving real time location data and trip information on your fleet can now be done on the go.

Certain company locations with a large number of assets experienced issues with the app crashing on load due to the devices getting bogged down drawing asset labels. Given that when large amounts of asset labels are on screen it's nearly impossible to discern between them, we've implemented the following feature: as the user scrolls the map, the app finds the closest 100 assets to the center of the map and draws labels on them, and will continue to update the closest 100 in real time. This alleviates the resource issue crashing the app, and should also increase visibility for company locations with large amounts of assets.
