Welcome to Scran.

What is Scran? Scran is the first ever app to allow you to directly scan your meals and get an estimate of how many calories/kcal are in your scanned meal. Perfect for those who love being healthy but also love being social.

Scran is powered by AI (artificial intelligence) to identify a wide range of foods/ingredients your meal consists of.

To scan meal, simply:

• Point your camera at your meal and allow Scran to scan all identifiable ingredients. Each ingredient must be in plain view.

• Once scan has completed, tap the analyse button and adjust servings/portions to see a total overall calculation of both calories and macros.

Yes, it's as simple as that!

Scran can only ever estimate and works of averages, therefore, no value is final but rather an indicator & form of guidance to allow you to track both your calories and macros, when needed.

We plan on not only improving the output/accuracy of the Scran app, but also update the number of recognisable ingredients which each update therefore we highly suggest you have automatic downloads enabled to ensure you're always up to date and never miss out.
