About Semanoor Periodic Table

Semanoor Periodic Table is an educational Interactive Rich media & Data periodic table which allows a visual exploration of the chemical elements.
Besides being classified into 18 groups and 7 periods, elements in this periodic table can be classified into 10 categories:
1-Main groups: to classify them into metals, nonmetals and metalloids.
2-Thermodynamic properties: to classify them according to physical state into solids, liquids and gases.
3-Crystal structure: including 8 classes.
4-Orbitals: including (s p d f) blocks.
5-Existence: which shows whether the element exists as a free element, in a compound or as both an element & in a compound.
6-Source: to classify elements into natural and artificial.
7-Nuclear properties: to classify them into isotopic and anisotopic elements, while showing the radioactive ones.
8-Usefulness: which shows useful & harmful elements to the human body, elements in life processes and elements in the Earth crust.
9-Magnetic Properties: to classify them into Ferromagnetic, anti-ferromagnetic, paramagnetic and diamagnetic.
10-Electrical Conductivity: to classify them into conductors, insulators and semiconductors.

By clicking on any element, a list of the above properties specific to that element will appear, besides:
A)Media: to see an illustrative picture, watch a related video and listen to the element’s name.
B)Data: which includes the numerical values of the element's properties, in addition to its color and CAS number. Clicking on most of the properties will give the values for all elements on the periodic table itself.
C)Extra: which includes information about its importance. In few elements the usefulness and abundance in Earth crust are mentioned.

A sliding panel at the lower left corner contains the following:
1)Glossary of keywords.
2)Timeline of periodic table history.
3)Electron configuration: showing foundations of electron configuration as well as the box notation (orbital diagram) and the electron configuration (expanded & abbreviated) for each element.
4)Periodicity: to study the variation of atomic radius, ionic radius, first ionization energy and electronegativity through both, period and group.
5)Table of values: which allows, for a selected property, the sorting of elements according to atomic number, alphabetical order or the values of that property.

1)A sliding panel is added to the lower left corner which contains, besides the Glossary of keywords:
-Timeline of periodic table history.
-Electron configuration: showing foundations of electron configuration as well as the box notation (orbital diagram) and the electron configuration (expanded & abbreviated) for each element.
-Periodicity: to study the variation of some atomic properties such as: atomic radius, ionic radius, first ionization energy and electronegativity through both, period and group.
-Table of values: which allows, for a selected property, the sorting of elements according to atomic number, alphabetical order or the values of that property?

2)By clicking on any element, a list of properties specific to that element will appear. Clicking any property will filter all the elements according to that property.

3)A new tab "Extra" is also added to each element, which includes information about its importance. In few ones, the usefulness and abundance in Earth crust are mentioned.
