About SensoryMeter

Sensory Meter - A handy tool to show and understand what the feeling of your children.

Sometimes, it's hard to figure out what your child feel or think about sensory input. This simple app will allow them to express or show their response on 5 major sensory inputs (visual, auditory, taste, touch, smell). It will give them high level of confidence as well as an opportunity of communication through innovative interface.

Sensory processing:
A neurological process that organizes sensation from the body and environment and makes it possible to use the body effectively within the environment.

The ability to regulate one's internal state to match the demands of the environment and the task is called "Sensory Modulation" such as brain stops paying attention to non-important input (Habituation), can be a filtering (block out everything or block out nothing), a person can be over reactive or under reactive to certain systems.

The aim of this app:
To find out the fitness of current sensory environment in terms of 5 major sensory input to make it easy to express and understand a person's sensory processing.
