Sesame works with just about any single cylinder deadbolt in the USA/ Canada/ Denmark/ Sweden/ Norway/ Singapore/ Japan/ Malaysia thanks to five-patented self-adjusting mechanisms. Sesame doesn't even need to be exactly at the center of your lock or at any specific angle. It just works with your lock perfectly.

Sesame lasts about 500 days on lithium batteries (supplied), and sends a notification when the batteries are low.
● Apple Watch
Lock/unlock your door with Apple Watch. If Apple Watch doesn't connect to Sesame via Bluetooth, please turn Watch's Flight Mode on and off, and make sure Sesame is nearby your Apple Watch.

Some Sesame users have two or three locks on their door. Now you can use the app to unlock all with one tap.

5. We have retired old XMPP server that is built in Stanford University dormitory in 2015. From this version, we have moved to new RESTful server on AWS. This means that, CANDY HOUSE server is like impossible to be down from now. Super stable ! Yeah !

4. We further migrated our v1 history server to v2 history server. The app is faster when updating the history.
5. The history now shows how you locked/unlocked the door (IFTTT / Google Assistant / Amazon Alexa/ APIs/ Dashboard/ Bluetooth / Apple Watch / internet, etc.)

1. Great great improvements on the Apple Watch app's user experience :) Now it is much easier to touch Watch to lock/unlock your door. And, when you lock/unlock the door, your Apple Watch will touch your wrist with the sweet haptic effect and sound.

We’ve moved our login server to Amazon Cognito Login Platform in the last version 1.30(15). However, there was a tiny bug that caused new users to fail to login with Facebook/Google accounts on the first try. The users would be successful on the second try, but we understand the user experience is still poor.

We’ve been working to move our homebrew signup/login platform to Amazon Cognito Server for better security and stability. We’re really excited about this change because the improved security means your accounts will be basically impossible to hack, and the increase in robustness means much better stability and reliability.
