Webex Events, formerly Socio, takes your event experience to the next level. The Webex Events App (formerly Socio) serves as your digital networking portal, event guide, and content hub, giving you easy access to all of the information surrounding the events you attend!
Browse the attendee list and add connections to chat and network, add sessions to your personal agenda, and watch live streams from your preferred device. Based on how the organizer has set up the event, you may even be able to take polls, play games, and participate in many other ways.
You’ll be networking in two shakes of a smartphone with our Shake to Connect technology. Simply link your email, phone number and social media accounts to a single profile, and connect with others by shaking your phone. Magic!

• When we say we “fixed bugs”, what do we mean? What is a bug? It’s code that’s misbehaving, so we rarely just remove bugged code. We work on the bugs to turn them into contributing parts of the whole, and I think that’s beautiful. Today, some former bugs transcended their troubled past and became something more. Something whole.

• Video on Demand content should be just as accessible as live streamed content, so we made some changes to make that happen.

• Improved what features get a red dot alert. This update will have you seeing less red, which is better for everyone
• Absence makes the heart grow fonder, it also makes it difficult to know where you left off. Sooo we’ve improved the app landing experience after a period of inactivity to re-orient you to the event space
• Turning CC’s on should not be difficult, so we made it easier
• Springs here, and we’ve done some spring cleaning, organizing, decluttering, and removed some pesky bugs
