About surround-view
Surround-view mobile app allows managers and employees to assess, analyze and develop their talents. It is the first anonymous multi-source feedback app. Companies can use their own competency models and development activities. Users within an organization invite and accept feedback based on professional relationships to identify areas of improvement and receive individual talent development recommendations. Surround-view increases employee awareness and engagement and helps companies to identify competency gaps and development needs.

surround-view introduces PULSE CHECK. With this feature users can provide feedback not only to other people but also to the company. And as with every other update we increase the system performance, fix bugs and enable a better user experience.

We have worked hard on improving our mobile app as well as the surround-view Admin and HR Analytics portal. Portal Power Users can now send feedback invitations to either all or to selected surround-view app users. By the same way, they can suggest to feedback receivers to invite certain people to provide feedback. The enhanced export function allows authorized users to export feedback results to a spreadsheet and run their own queries, beyond the analytics surround-view offers already.
The mobile app has been further optimized for iPhone X users, like the login with Face ID. An automated push notification now alerts users when a new app version is available.

We have been very busy over the last few months building a set of new features and enhancing existing ones to further promote the functionality and the user convenience of surround-view. Much of it is based on the great input received from our customers and partners. Many thanks for that – and please keep going! We love feedback.
Free Text comments
We have added a Free Text feature to surround-view so you can now send a personal comment with your structured feedback.
Companies can turn the Free Text feature on or off for any given feedback period. Besides, they can configure the comments to have the senders either disclose or not disclose their names or give them a choice between those two options.
Users can track and view the Free Text feedback they have sent or received.
Correct wrong email addresses and resend emails
Users will now get notified when an email (e.g. an invitation to provide feedback) was not delivered to the intended recipient.
They can edit wrong email addresses and resend.
Export Data
Authorized users of surround-view’s HR Analytics Portal can download feedback data to Excel for their own analysis.

We have enhanced surround-view with an essential feature: free text feedback. Provided that companies have enabled this function, feedback providers can now also send personal comments in free text format to the recipient with their quantitative and structured feedback. The free text feedback can be listed, filtered and viewed by the recipient and the sender at any time.
In addition, we have further improved the performance of surround-view and fixed some bugs.
