Ko te whāinga o tēnei taupānga he ruku ki ngā kōrero tuku iho me ngā mātauranga Māori mō te mātahi o te tau me ngā kaitohu i a ia, a Matariki, a Puanga.
Ko te manako ia ka ngahau te ruku ki tēnei taupānga.
Mā tēnei kiriata koe e ārahi.

Nau mai haere mai. Welcome to TE MĀTAHI O TE TAU (7-11).
2022 is the first year that Aotearoa will celebrate the Māori new year with a public holiday.
The purpose of this app is to explore Māori traditions and knowledge around the Māori new year period and the stars that traditionally herald it, Matariki and Puanga.
Activities include exploring the stars, painting, drawing, story-writing, singing original waiata, meditation, puzzles, games and more.
We hope you have fun using our app.
