Just in time for your summer reading, the Daily Egyptian app is now better and faster than ever. You can now:
- Search for your favorite article by tapping the magnifying glass in the menu bar
- Easily share image to your Instagram story
- Read articles in the new 'Special Projects' category right from the navigation drawer
- Control your privacy with Apple's new App Tracking Transparency pop-up. Previously, analytic collection was controlled using a toggle in the app's Settings page.
This new version now requires at least iOS 11 to run. Some features, like Widgets and Dark Mode, may require newer versions of iOS.

He might not seem like the guy, but even Gus gets into Spring cleaning. We've tidied up the Daily Egyptian app with the following changes:
- Videos now appear in articles that have them. You can easily find things to watch in the new 'Videos' category.
- You can now search for articles by title.
- Some design improvements here and there.
- Bug fixes, of course.
