About WE-ACT
The WE-ACT app is designed to promote better communication between cancer patients and their employers and between cancer patients and their healthcare teams. This app contains helpful information for cancer patients to use during and after treatment.
Victoria Blinder, MD, MSc, is a board certified medical oncologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center with a practice that is dedicated to the treatment of patients with cancer. Her research focuses on understanding and addressing disparities in cancer outcomes. She is the primary investigator of the WE-ACT Study, which tests an early version of this mobile health app designed to help cancer patients keep their jobs during and after treatment.
