Wildlife Recent Sightings, Look before you Book.
Planning a wildlife outing for your upcoming holidays? First & foremost have a look at sightings across all national parks and tiger reserves, look at Sighting Index including Tiger Sighting Index ® (if you are very particular for Tiger sightings) and then plan your destination.
This is the only app that gives you complete details of sightings of all species and not just Tigers, across most of the top national parks and reserves in India (soon global). We do data mining and do data analytics on these sightings data and then we come up with a Sighting Index metric which probably can predict well on what are your chances of sighting a particular species (say Tiger or any given bird or any mammals or reptiles for that matter) in a given sanctuary for a given zone/gate during a given period. This will greatly enhance your sightings probability for sure and hence the tagline - look before you book. We have now more than 2 years worth of data and across 30+ national parks and reserves and the coverage is increasing drastically too.
The WildTrails Recent Sightings App, not only acts like a ready reckoner for Sighting Index, but it also is a one-stop destination for all wildlife travel related parts - The Platform for wildlife travelers - be it connecting the jungle resorts that are attached to a given gate/zone of a given sanctuary, listing how far it is from the safari gate to also list all those service providers who book safari for a given sanctuary. Using this you can easily contact which resort you feel comfortable and ends up with jungle resorts booking as well as helps you to book the safaris.
If you are that kind of a person who doesn’t want any hassles of booking individually but just want a hassle free package, the App also acts like a single platform to list all packages be it customized packages or fixed itinerary packages or even group packages fixed departure ones and you can just participate in those group ones.
The WildTrails Recent sightings app also is a directory of Wildlife Sanctuaries, Tiger Reserves, Elephant Reserves, Bird Sanctuaries and National Parks across India (& soon global). You can explore most of the wildlife locations in India. We have added the platform play now - you can now have the option to choose any park, any resort type and within that any resort of your choice. Any selection will have total package charges including breakup by room-wise, by safari/room/cab-wise etc. Also now any jungle resort can list themselves with us for a global exposure.

The new enhancements are:
1. We have added cost breakup for the trips so that you know where the cost is going - how much to resorts, how much to safaris and how much to cab - more transparency to you. We also have added cost breakup room-wise so that you know how to divide between group members
2. We have also added ability of adding cab to your trip if you prefer, and the app automatically generates the cost for it and is also shown in the cost breakups for the trips

Now you can select any of the top parks in India, design your own itinerary including when you want to do safari and what mode (Canter, Gypsy, Shared, Exclusive etc) and kind of resort (Budget, Standard, Deluxe, Luxury, Premium) and get the exact total cost that you have to pay. We are the first and only to do so. Check it out
We have added images under each of the trips with a date stamp on it so that you know when this sighting happened and when this image was taken giving you an idea what all animals and birds were sighted and when. We are the only ones to do this to provide this and hence helping you to plan better.
Also wherever possible, we have added tiger names that are being sighted in the respective parks

- The first company now to put trips based on Sighting Index ® of the given species which has never been done by anyone.
- Now the Trips are conveniently divided into easily understandable and accessible groups such as nearby, popular, destination-based, the best time to visit trips, Fixed Departure Guided, Theme based Trips.
- Each trip will now have details about recent sightings details and recent sighting images & videos which will give a full view of what to expect in a given Park when you visit.
- Also, each trip will have detailed info of what are the targeted species so that you can select the right one based on that

We have added Fixed departure group guided Wildlife Packages along with the existing Custom Wildlife Packages. Now you can pick either your customer tours or pick one of the many fixed departure groups guided and or photo tours that suit your dates, budget, and itinerary. We have added new features and redesigned UI to make it extremely easy to pick the right wildlife package and book the same. Also, to provide end to end experience, we have also added the feature to pick automatically the transport to pick up and drop from the nearby railway station / airport and it provides the rate automatically using geo marked algorithms.

1. Customized Package Tours: Made it much better UI and also more info so that users are aware of what they are booking - details like itinerary, accommodation details, what are inclusions, exclusions, complete details that you want to know
2. Added a home toolbar at the bottom making it extremely easy to access many of the functionalities easily
3. One of the biggest add is the in-app chat facility. Now you can chat with the Wildlife Experts anytime and about any wildlife related issue - all at the tap of a button.

Added many new features. Ofcourse lot of UI changes to make it extremely simple to use. Bug fixes and performance enhancements. You will appreciate the new changes for sure. All changes are listed below in detail:
1. Package Tours: Enabled Community sharing where people can share their trip details to get like-minded people and/or to pool the costs.
2. Finally added google login: We just had only facebook login but with this release we are adding google login too
3. Other fixes include a better way of filtering, sorting sanctuaries, better way of sorting packages (by popularity and by distance), sorting images by rating versus chronological order and lot more UI changes

Biggest feature change is the automatic booking of Jungle safari packages to many national parks and tiger reserves. Based on consumer feedback we have realigned UIs to make it extremely simple and easy to use. We kept our focus mainly on the simplicity and ease of use. You will appreciate the new changes for sure. 2. Complete new Home Grid design: Just put minimal but most critical grids there and all to fit in one screen - with Sanctuary grid being the core, and Packages Grid being the heart
3. Book Wildlife Package Tours: : Just three Taps and your jungle package is booked under few minutes. Simple, Easy, fast and hassle free, end to end package with real time chat support within the app from the booking until your trip gets concluded!! All managed on the app!!
4. Sanctuary details - for each of the 540 sanctuaries across India, complete details be it overview, images, weather forecast, exact locations of all gates, list of naturalists, how to get there, nearest airport, railway station, distance from current location, safari details, nearby attractions, complete list of animals and birds to expect there and lot more with an amazing and extremely simple UI
5. Wildlife News and Articles - Your indian wildlife news articles delivered sharp at 6.30am every day covering almost all news and articles across Indian wildlife. One place to be there to be updated about Indian Wildlife
6. We have introduced another new feature - we have added the “Customers Speak” section where we put some of the selected testimonials from our customers among many many we get.
7. Sighting Images - are all now tagged with sanctuary name so that you can not only find out what to expect in a given sanctuary but you can now search by the sanctuary name
8. Now new grid for Details about all Mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians that are found across India with details like its threatened status, about the species, family tree, pics and videos and also where it can be found.
