XO Ladder allows fans of The Weeknd to see live rankings for all songs by The Weeknd. The ratings of each song are calculated using an Elo rating system (based on chess). This essentially gives a 'normalized' rating for every song relative to each other rather than the typical song charts based on number of streams which doesn't really mean much for the user.

Note:
- Every song's initial rating is 1200 Elo
- A song's win/loss ratio does NOT indicate it's rank in an Elo-based rating system
- If a song is ranked with the lowest Elo, it does NOT mean that everyone hates the song. In fact, the song can still be amazing. The system merely portrays, the public sentiment towards each song relative to every other song by The Weeknd
