Feb 19, 2024
This is a maintenance release which removes the "external alerting" feature. Integration with 3rd party services is now done through agent sensors, obviating the need for this feature entirely.

What's new:
- The node overlay options has removed "Alerting" and now displays only Monitors as an option
- Fix: Sensor page can now be closed when tapping "Close" button from node tactile form
1.8.0
Feb 16, 2024
At Your Service now provides a near zero configuration for monitoring systems with the introduction of Agent Sensors! Agent sensors allow any remote system to report its health status to AYS. With agent sensors you can:

- Automatically track hundreds or thousands of device or systems
- Automatically group systems within the system graph
- Provide samples and thresholds. Your system can inform AYS of its internal state. Send a single value or multiple values for services that need to report the status of their subsystems. Imagine a server that needs to report its system CPU, RAM, HDD, and network usage. You can now do this in a single payload.
- Provide direct health status. For third party alerting systems, you can use your already configured alerts to be sent directly to AYS within minutes via a web hook.
- Configure the heartbeat timeouts. AYS will let you know if your system is down if it fails to report its status within a period of time that you specify.

All of this is configured by the service or device! It is no longer necessary to configure your systems within AYS.
1.7.0
Jan 30, 2024
At Your Service now gives you the power to communicate with any machine or service with our new Node API!

- Want to update thousands of devices at once? The Node API allows you to query all child nodes and send firmware, or software, updates to every device.
- Want to heal systems with a touch of a button? Now you can codify administrative commands and run them within @ys.
- Want to turn a light, server, or any other machine on in within your home? @ys gives you the full power to integrate with any 3rd party home automation system.

The Node API allows you not only to send signals to remote systems, but it also gives you the power to define options that can be selected from within @ys. For example, if you have multiple versions of firmware, you can direct @ys to query the firmware versions via HTTP, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
1.6.0
Jan 19, 2024
Administrative CLI tools are now available within the app! The new terminal has been enhanced even more to allow you to execute admin CLI scripts from within the app. It is no longer necessary to login to the machine. This is not only more convenient, but secures your @ys instance as fewer people need access to perform common admin actions.

What's new:
- Execute admin CLI scripts. Go to Account > Admin tools to access this feature.
- Server improvements have been made to allow you to interpolate monitor parameters, including software keys, when testing your script. Now it's even easier to test monitor scripts that require secrets.
1.5.0
Jan 18, 2024
A new terminal experience has arrived! Running and debugging scripts has never been easier.

Several improvements have been made to the scripting environment including script auto-validation. This allows you to make changes to your monitor script without running the script manually.

New in this version:
- A new terminal UI/UX
- You can now log your program's execution using session.log
- Tapping save in the script environment will now auto-validate the script
- Tapping cancel in the script environment will ask you if you want to close before saving
- The banner UI/UX has been improved
1.4.1
Jan 11, 2024
You can now securely access 3rd party services using software keys from your monitor sensor scripts. It is no longer necessary to embed software API keys in your scripts.

Secrets may also be inherited to children. This allows software keys to be centralized to a parent team or service.

What's new:
- A better UX for updating software keys. It wasn't obvious if a key was updated or not. Now it is.

Secrets may also be inherited to children. This allows software keys to be centralized to a parent team or service.

What's new:
- New: Software keys. Configure secrets to a team, and access them securely from monitor sensor scripts.
- Fix: Saving field values automatically works much better and no longer interrupts the sign in screen process.
- Fix: Accessing template references, when creating a new template node, now displays a warning banner.
1.3.1
Jan 3, 2024
Do you want to start using At Your Service for its contact management features but don't have time to connect all of your external services? If so, we have made it even easier to start using At Your Service. You can now trigger a manual override of a system's or team's node health. This allows you to alert team members when your service is down without having to configure alerting.

This feature also helps teams trigger an alert for those edge cases when a gap is found in your system monitors. (It happens to everyone!) Now you can trigger a manual override of your system health, fix the issue, plug the monitoring gap, and then clear the alert when the issue is resolved.

What's new:
- Trigger a manual override of a system, team, or group node health
- A text field's value is saved even if you don't tap the done or return key on the simulator or hardware keyboard
- Fix: Typo in unlinking node message
- Fix: Node health is updated in Tactile Form even if no measurements exist on Node
- Fix: You can now close the contacts form when opening from resource path in navigation bar
- Fix: Do not save and automatically close node form after node name is entered
- Fix: Uploading a new image to a node now shows the new logo in system graph

You can now view detailed logs emitted by data collectors. What does this mean? If your Python script is failing due to a syntax / parsing / network error, your sample data will now show the respective exception. Now you can easily, and quickly, resolve data collection issues.

What's new:
- Tap the "Logs" button above a Monitor Graph to see detailed script execution logs. This works in the Monitors page and tactile form.
- When in the Health page, you may now tap an unhealthy Monitor to see detailed script execution logs.
- Fix: No longer crashes in some instances when signing out.
1.1.4
Dec 22, 2023
This version sets the new server home of AYS to api.bithead.io.

If using a version older than 1.1.4, you may safely change this on your own. When signed out, set the Server field to: api.bithead.io
1.1.3
Dec 20, 2023
Improvements to several phones on iPhone have been made.

Fixed: There is now a way to save a numeric field value on iPhone. Tap the `Tap here to save` button to save the field's value.

Dec 19, 2023
This resolves a memory leak after dismissing the tactile form.
1.1.1
Dec 13, 2023
This includes a few fixes in preparation for some larger features coming in January.

What's new:
- Threshold "=" and "!=" trigger types are now supported
- Fix: Border color of node now blends correctly when going from any unhealthy state to healthy state
1.1.0
Dec 12, 2023
Version 1.1 brings improvements to "elder monitors." An elder monitor queries a data source and then distributes the queried values to "sibling monitors." A common use case is querying the state of a server, which may included the CPU, RAM, and Disk usage. After an elder monitor queries a server, it then distributes the values for CPU / RAM / Disk to sibling monitors that represent each of the values.

What's new:
- Improvements to elder monitors
- You can now view a monitor's real-time graph directly from the measurement page
- Many UX improvements that streamline the process of configuring measurements, sensors, and thresholds.
- Initial support for a new feature that supports "virtual elder" monitors. This will allow virtual nodes to be associated with multiple values, instead of just one. Very important when needing to monitor tens, hundreds, or thousands of like systems that need to track more than one value.
- Fix: No longer crashes when uploading a large node logo image
- Fix: Reload health data to prevent stale data from being shown in tactile form
1.0.0
Dec 6, 2023
At Your Service has finally reached version 1.0! This update brings several enhancements to the Tactile Form, stability improvements, and finishes the remaining features scheduled for the 1.0 release.

What's new:
- Sensor parameters can now be set within the respective monitor, making it easier to configure template monitors.
- Template monitors no longer query for status in the Tactile Form. They also show a "no status" icon to better indicate their purpose within the tactile form context.
- Sensors and thresholds can now be defined as "Read-only." This allows template makers to better control how a monitor behaves. This is important in contexts of testing the state of switches.
- Renamed the system graph option "Update" to "Edit."
- Several small fixes and enhancements.
0.9.26
Dec 3, 2023
@ys 0.9.26 introduces the Tactile Form! Tactile Form brings a command center view to every node. Simply long-press a node on the system graph, on iPad or macOS, to bring up the Tactile Form. See the status of every monitor and threshold and easily access sensor and threshold configuration pages.

Other updates & fixes:
- Many forms now allow you to save values by simply hitting the `return` key or tapping `done`.
- Saving monitor parameters is now much easier. It is no longer necessary to tap "Save parameters."
- "Measurements" has been renamed to "Monitors" to better reflect the nomenclature used in most other analytics platforms.
- All icons are now sharper in appearance.
- App no longer crashes when accessing alerting configuration in node form.
0.9.25
Nov 17, 2023
This release brings a round of fixes, better support for Mac, and new features.

Updates:
- Configuring thresholds are much easier now. Two new supported threshold types have been added too. An "=" and "!=" comparator. This is in preparation to support certain IoT devices.
- No longer show disabled measurements when viewing graphs.
- Show the child / dependent node, measurement, or external alert name when viewing health of a node.
- Searching for template nodes is much intuitive.
- When selecting a theme, language, or syntax in the source editor, it now presents a modal instead of a picker. This greatly improves the usability of these features.
- Mac Catalyst has been removed. Instead I am focusing on the iPad for Mac experience, which is superior.

@ys is now monitoring hundreds of external services and growing every day. If you want to try @ys, you can always sign in with the guest account. Simply set the organization to "com.example" and tap "Connect as guest."
