About 日月潭紅茶館

魚池鄉農會自民國四年誕生，與您一同走過一百多個年頭，本會以在地農會自許，肩負耕耘魚池這塊土地的使命，期以服務農友、鄉民，促進魚池鄉的富裕、繁榮與進步。民國十四年日治時代，日本人由印度阿薩姆省引進大葉種茶葉「阿薩姆紅茶」，並遍訪全台，尋找地理環境、土壤、氣候與阿薩姆省相當及當地具有製茶品質條件，最後由魚池鄉日月潭雀屏中選，使得日月潭成為紅茶的故鄉。
對台灣人來說，茶飲、飲茶，是一幅再自然不過的生活風景...日月潭紅茶是以手工採摘一心二葉大葉種茶葉製成條型茶，以便和高山茶的球型茶區別開，分為四種品系：台茶18號紅玉、阿薩姆紅茶、台茶21號紅韻、台灣山茶藏芽，香氣滋味各有特色。
