About DIT Mobile
This app enables inventory tracking for John Deere dealerships based on scannable bar codes. The barcodes are printed in house and can be scanned by smartphones or laser scanners. Inventory tracked includes attachments/bundles and complete goods. This app reads and writes from a central repository used to store inventory information which is then shared with the dit.deere.com web site.

This release will utilize the new Admin setting on the DIT web site, Display Timestamp & GPS on Photos, that allows dealers to determine if the photos uploaded to DIT do or do not have the GPS data and Timestamp data placed onto DIT Mobile photos.

A new admin setting on the DIT web site, Display Attachment Checkboxes, gives dealers the ability to dictate what screens their DIT Mobile users see when performing transactions with attachments. Dealers can choose to keep the original DIT Mobile screens where users hit checkboxes to confirm attachments during DIT transactions or dealers can choose to use the new DIT Mobile screens that will require the user to type or scan in the stock number or serial number of each attachment during DIT transactions.
