Hamstring Elite can monitor left and right hamstrings, building a player/athlete's profile and setting target strengths. It’s fast, accurate and simple to use. It features secure cloud storage and real time feedback. The Hamstring Elite gives you a unique insight into a player/athlete's hamstring function and allows you to monitor progression and prevent injury occurring.

Benefits:
As we know it’s better to be pro-active in preventing an injury rather than re-active which usually leaves us with some of our top players looking on from the side-lines, missing out at the vital stage of the Championship action due to an injury they sustained either before or during the season. This exercise relies, in most cases, on the aid of a second person or unsafe alternatives which results in a minimum 85% non-completion of the program or collateral injury mainly to the knee and lower back. The Hamstring Solo removes the need for a second person to assist. The Hamstring Solo utilises the person’s own body weight, no additional weights or components required. Both hamstring eccentric and concentric exercises can be performed in a safe and optimal position preventing hyper extension of the knee joint, reducing the range of motion and preventing injury to the lower back. The athlete’s feet are allowed to hang freely with no additional strain being incurred. The Hamstring Solo accommodates users of all sizes, heights, weights and levels of fitness with minimal adjustment.

I was delighted to come across the Hamstring Solo as for years, when teaching a patient to perform eccentric Hamstrings you would be instructing them to find a second person to assist or use a piece of furniture that doesn't move! Neither of which is ideal or does anything to motivate the patient therefore compliance is frequently compromised. With the Hamstring Solo, the patient has the independence to perform and comply with the prescribed program. The device also has the versatility to adapt to modify the level of difficulty the Nordic curl can be performed at as well as adapt for tibial leg length with its long platform and adjustable ankle fixator. Rehabilitation of the hamstring muscles after an ACL reconstruction is slow and difficult. In fact, non-injured players in general have poor hamstring muscles compared to quadriceps. A lot of players have trouble in exercising the hamstring muscles properly. The Hamstring Solo device is an excellent solution to this problem. It allows the athlete to do Nordic hamstring curls on their own in a controlled way. The device is soundly made and is easy to use. Using it will lead to better hamstring muscle strength.
