General updates and bug fixes

A small number of InformaCast app for iOS users reported that the Body contents of their notifications were sporadically truncated when those notifications contained more than two lines of text. The InformaCast app was updated to resolve the truncation, and notifications now display as expected.

A logic error was causing the InformaCast app to hang for users who initiated a panic button scenario from their mobile devices without enabling location services. The scenario itself still successfully initiated. The error has been corrected, and the app no longer hangs.

Callback numbers, which could previously only be added or edited, can now be deleted through Self Service on mobile devices. Callback numbers are the number you provide for emergency services to call if a panic button scenario’s resulting emergency call can’t be routed appropriately.

New Incident Status Area. Incident managers can now quickly view the states of their incidents from the Details screens of their mobile devices. Along with incidents’ states, managers can also see the date and time incidents began (or ended) and the names of the sites where incidents are occurring (if applicable).

Bug fixes

Some Message Templates Not Allowing Recorded Audio at Send Time from Mobile Devices. A flaw in the logic for determining whether the Audio area of a message template was marked as Customizable led to pre-14.7.1 message templates preventing users from recording audio at send time from their mobile devices, even if the message templates were correctly configured to allow it. The logic flaw has been addressed, and recording audio at send time now works as designed.

Added support for Site based questions in Scenarios to include floor and room information.

The Review screen in the InformaCast app for iOS now contains a Review button that, when pressed, provides you with a summary of your notification’s potential recipients, the channels through which they may receive the notification, and any advanced settings, e.g. the notification’s expiration date, if applicable.
