About Kentekencard

Op 1 januari 2014 is het kentekenbewijs op creditcardformaat ingevoerd. Deze kentekencard vervangt het papieren kentekenbewijs. De kentekencard is veilig, handzaam en meer van deze tijd. Bovendien is de kentekencard minder gemakkelijk na te maken dan het papieren kentekenbewijs. De kentekencard heeft meerdere echtheidskenmerken. Een aantal daarvan kunt u met het blote oog of met eenvoudige hulpmiddelen controleren. Zo kunt u zelf vaststellen of u een vervalst exemplaar in handen hebt.

In deze app ziet u hoe vier van deze echtheidskenmerken in de praktijk werken. Door uw toestel te bewegen, tegen het licht te houden of aan te raken, ontdekt u waar de echtheidskenmerken staan. Ook ziet u hoe ze werken. Bovendien leest u tips wat u kunt doen als u een vervalste kentekencard tegenkomt.
