About Militia Immaculatae

Die Militia Immaculate ist eine Vereinigung von Gläubigen, die unter der Führung der unbefleckt empfangenen Gottesmutter Maria an der Bekehrung der Sünder mitwirken möchten. Der hl. Maximilian Kolbe gründete sie am 16. Oktober 1917 in Rom, von der Sehnsucht nach dem Heil der Seelen durchdrungen. Am 2. Januar 1922 wurde die Gemeinschaft offiziell vom Hl. Stuhl anerkannt.
