Deze app is bestemd voor alle Officieren van Dienst (multidisciplinair) die betrokken zijn bij hulpverlening op het water. Het is een handzaam overzicht met checklists, nuttige informatie, operationele informatiekaarten en de belangrijkste waterongevallen procedures.

Deze waterwijzer is beslist geen vervanging van het Incidentbestrijdingsplan (IBP) Waddenzee / IJsselmeergebied!

Het verdient aanbeveling om de inhoud van het IBP, met name de scenariokaarten uit de IBP’s goed te kennen. Gebruik van deze wijzer heeft vooral meerwaarde bij het doorlopen van het traject vakbekwaamheid (het traject van opleiding, training en oefening) en daarna.
