About Sellinam
Sellinam is the most popular input method app for mobile devices. It includes Anjal and Tamil99, the two most commonly used keyboards for Tamil text input; and Solvan an advanced Tamil text-to-speech system.
Sellinam provides predictions, next word suggestions and auto-corrections while the text is being typed.
You can use Solvan to read any Tamil text, typed by you or copied and pasted from notes, messages or websites.
Sellinam also suggests the appropriate Emojis for words used in frequent communication - the first such feature in Tamil language.

This is the major version of Sellinam for iOS since its introduction in 2009. Sellinam has been completely rewritten in this version to provide Murasu Anjal and Tamil 99 as custom keyboard extensions in iOS. While both these keyboard layouts have been available since iOS 7, Sellinam adds word suggestion, auto-correction and next word prediction.

Sellinam 3.0 is a complete rewrite of the app to take advantage of iOS 4.0. In addition to Facebook and Twitter integration, this version allows you to read news and Tamil literary content. It includes many enhancements to provide a much better user experience.

Users can compose in Tamil using Murasu Anjal key mapping. The composed text can then be sent as an SMS or Email from the app itself. SMS is supported on iPhones running iOS 4.0

While Sellinam will still run on 3.0, it takes advantage of the availability of a Tamil font in 4.0. This greatly improves performance as text in critical areas are no longer converted to images.
