About Sownds

There are so many situations in which certain sounds can improve the way we live our life. It’s simple: We occasionally don’t find the right words to express particular emotions. This is where „Sownds“ comes in. „Sownds“ can give circumstances a positive or negative touch. You could instantly provide encouragement, energise the atmosphere or unexpectedly surprise someone. With a touch of your finger, small mishaps could be made way more embarrassing and after that you could play a funny melody that makes everyone laugh again.
Perhaps though you simply want to enjoy the humongous selection of sounds during a long car trip or after a hard day at work.
Every situation has it’s matching sound. That’s why „Sownds“ comes with almost 400 of them. Most of these recordings have been produced in our own studios and we’re adding more sounds every day.
• Record emotions and share them using services like WhatsApp, Telegram or Threema: Recording and sharing your own sounds with „Sownds“ is a piece of cake.
• New in iOS 8 - Widgets: Without any doubt the fastest way to access anything on your iOS device. Even when your device is locked, only one swipe is required to show all your previously added favorites. But that’s not all. You can also record sounds directly in the notification center and never miss a happy moment again.
• Design: „Sownds“ will give you an unconventional and extraordinary user experience. Multitouch gestures and the devices gyroscope help you get to all functions with one action, preserving the clean and simple user interface everyone loves.

The 1.2 update comes with a hand full of improvements and new features:
- 50 new sounds for your collection
- You can now keep on recording sounds even if you let go of the record button
- Color attributes for newly added sounds
- Improved audio quality when recording sounds
- Fixed a bug on devices running iOS 7
- Other Bug fixes and stability improvements

Fixed a bug causing iOS7 devices to crash when the app is opened the first time.

NEW: Hold sounds long to add them to your favorites - Hold sounds extra long to send them via WhatsApp, telegram etc!
- Sounds can be sent directly via Whatsapp, telegram etc.
- Search function (tilt your device to start searching)
