“The hour has come for you to wake from sleep,” Romans 13:11 tells us. “For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.” What does this mean?
It means that drifting is NOT what God designed us for… it’s time to wake up to our true purpose and make the best use of the time we have here on Earth!
But how can we do this? Many of us will try to “become more productive” — to DO more in order to feel like we are not wasting time. This is not the answer either.
Instead, our lives are about bearing fruit — which means constantly receiving the nutrients we need (the truth of God’s Word) and growing, day by day, into the people we are meant to be.
