About UP Spelling

Deze app dient als ondersteuning voor de spellingslessen op school. Ook ouders kunnen de app thuis inzetten.

De app gebruikt 4 verschillende hoofdcategorieën waar weer verschillende spellingcategorieën onder hangen. Per categorie vind je de uitleg en oefenwoorden.

Omdat je spelling leert door naar het woord te luisteren en het vervolgens op te schrijven (dus niet te typen) is er een schrijf-tool toegevoegd aan de app.

Woorden beklijven beter als je ze oefent. Maar overschrijven, is bewezen, werkt niet. Opdrachten waarbij je creatief met de woorden omgaat of samen woorden oefent, werken wel. De app geeft 9 verschillende opties. Met papier of met een smart device.

De app wordt gebruikt door leerkrachten om leerlingen handvatten te geven bij het leren spellen van eenvoudige en moeilijke woorden. Ook ouders kunnen de app inzetten als extra oefening voor hun kinderen.
