VUG Running là một sự kiện chạy ảo MIỄN PHÍ dành cho sinh viên chính quy đang theo học tại các trường đại học, cao đẳng, học viện trên cả nước. Người tham gia được tự do lựa chọn thời gian, địa điểm chạy phù hợp với điều kiện cá nhân và chủ động ghi lại kết quả chạy trên ứng dụng của VUG với mục đích tích luỹ được quãng đường chạy càng nhiều càng tốt.

VUG Running là bộ môn mới trong hệ thống Giải Thể thao Sinh viên Việt Nam, với thông điệp Start your great run - Chạy đỉnh, bừng sức sống - nhằm khuyến khích các hoạt động thể chất đa chiều, mong muốn sẽ góp phần hình thành và duy trì lối sống khỏe mạnh, năng động cho các bạn sinh viên nói riêng và thế hệ trẻ nói chung.
