A Simaxis, la festa del Santo Patrono San Simmaco Papa si svolge in due periodi dell’anno.
La festa invernale ricade l’ultimo sabato di Gennaio, quando i 50 enni del paese “Comitato Classe 1968”, organizzano un falò in suo onore con distribuzione alla popolazione di fave con cotiche e ceci; mentre la festa estiva viene organizzata nei giorni intorno al 19 Luglio, giorno della morte del Santo, in un intenso momento di fede, cultura e tradizioni che si fondono in una 4 giorni di musica e spettacoli per tutti.
