This update to the Panopto app includes a major improvement to the workflow for uploading videos. You no longer need to leave the app open while your video is uploading. Videos will be seamlessly uploaded in the background and will automatically be processed by the Panopto services when upload completes.
In addition, we have fixed a critical bug in search, allowing search results to begin playback at the point in the video where the search term appears.
We have also restored the 'DVR' feature that automatically resumes session playback from your last viewing position. This feature allows you to begin viewing a video on any device, stop watching part way through, then open the video in this app and it will automatically pick up where you last left off.
