About Conjugation Nation French
Learn French verbs. Practice conjugating verbs with an interactive, fun and addictive quiz. We give you a verb, tense, and pronoun - you give the correctly conjugated verb. Customize your quiz with your own selection of verbs, tenses, and pronouns. There are 140 of the most common verbs, 15 tenses, and 6 pronouns. That's almost 13,000 conjugations!

Customize your quiz:
-Select from a list of 140 verbs, create and save custom lists, or select by verb stem.
-Select tenses (beginners can start with just Présent).
-Select pronouns (work with all of them, or select a subset - e.g. Je, Tu).
Learn new words:
-Full Verb Reference
-Translations - While taking the quiz, TAP the screen to show English translations.
-If you're stumped, you can SWIPE UP to view the answer, and then also view all conjugations if desired.
-Adjust the quiz pace, slow it down by adjusting Answer Display Duration under the options panel.
-Review the summary to go over incorrect answers.
-Review the verb conjugation tables to brush up.
-View the regular stem reference to learn about conjugation patterns for regular verbs.

Fix bug with answers for reflexive verbs such as vous vous appelez. The speech to text feature was stripping the second vous from your answer, even when you typed it in, and the app would mark it incorrect.
Using the speech to text feature with these verbs will still remove the second vous, and you'll have to type the answer. Working on a fix for that.

Pronunciation Practice. Say the conjugation aloud and the app will recognize if you get it right.
How it works:
Tap the microphone to begin recording. If you say the answer correctly, you'll move to the next question. If you say the answer incorrectly, you can use the French words "encore" or "de nouveau" to reset and try again. If you choose to type your answer, the microphone will turn off.
Supported on iOS 10 and iPhone 6 (or 6 plus) and higher. Coming soon to iPads.

Fix for critical bug with iOS 10
- Update all the code to work for the latest iOS versions. Future updates will be for iOS 9 and higher.
Please report any bugs right away. This was a big upgrade. Expect more in the near future. Thanks!

Bug fix for iOS 4.2.1.
- The keyboard stopped responding when updating to iOS 4.2.1, rendering the app useless.

-Select verbs by stem: ER, IR, and RE.
-Create and save custom verb lists.
-Change the delay between questions if an answer is wrong. This gives you more time to review the correct answer.
