Nach achtzehn Monaten und einer Pandemie später ist Johnson Mc Johnson hier - ENDLICH macht er ein Update für die App!

Aufgrund der Pandemie und der viel geringeren Investitionen ist unser Team so engagiert, dass wir freiwillig arbeiten und immer noch daran arbeiten, die App zu entwickeln und zu verbessern.

In dieser Version haben wir gearbeitet

- Bieten Sie an, den Port zu ändern, wenn sich die Ports Ihrer Kamera an unsicheren Ports befinden, die gehackt werden könnten oder mit anderen in Konflikt stehen könnten
- Formwerte im dunklen Modus sind nicht lesbar
- Stabilität und Verbesserungen seit unserer letzten Veröffentlichung für iOS 14

Wir hatten einige Testläufe mit der App und haben seitdem einige Probleme behoben, einschließlich eines Updates unserer Weltkameras, die externe IP-Überprüfung verbessert und sogar ein kleines Problem im Vollbildmodus behoben, das mit iOS 13 aufgetreten ist.

Ich muss mich demütig für die Verzögerung in dieser Version entschuldigen, das iOS 13-Update hat uns ein bisschen Probleme bereitet, was unseren Datenschutz betrifft.

Da wir alle Ihre Daten auf Ihrem Telefon speichern, muss die App intelligent genug sein, um zu wissen, wann Sie zu Hause sind (wo sich Ihre Kameras befinden) und wann nicht. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Apps sind wir nicht darauf angewiesen, dass Server Löcher in Ihren Router bohren, um auf Ihre Kamera zuzugreifen.

Sofern die App nicht erkennt, in welchem Wifi-Netzwerk sie sich befindet, kann sie keine ordnungsgemäße Verbindung zu Ihren Kameras herstellen, weder zu Hause noch unterwegs. Daher müssen Sie der App erlauben, die Details Ihres WLAN-Netzwerks anzuzeigen - was nur über die Standortberechtigungen möglich ist.

In dieser Version werden Sie daher aufgefordert, der App die Erlaubnis zum Anzeigen Ihrer WLAN-Daten zu erteilen. Sie sollten sich darüber im Klaren sein, dass KEINE dieser Daten außerhalb Ihres eigenen Telefons weitergegeben wird, um Ihre privaten Daten geheim zu halten.

Eine der Herausforderungen für OWLR bei der Gewährleistung der Privatsphäre Ihrer Kamera ist die Tatsache, dass wir Ihre Kamerakennwörter oder Zugangsdaten nicht in unserer Cloud speichern. Alle unsere Informationen sind in der App gespeichert und bleiben auf Ihrem Gerät bei Ihnen.

Zu diesem Zweck haben wir viel Zeit darauf verwendet, sicherzustellen, dass sich Ihr Telefon und Ihre Kameras im selben Heimnetzwerk befinden - auch wenn die Welt (z. B. Ihr ISP, Ihr Router, Ihr sehr kluger Neffe) Änderungen vornimmt. Wenn Sie eine Änderung der externen IP-Adresse vornehmen, werden Sie benachrichtigt und können selbst entscheiden, was zu tun ist.

Johnson McJohnson here - good to see you all having fun with the app and we are working hard to improve its performance.

Whilst you may not see anything special with the app, we have been working hard to improve the apps ability to determine when you are home, rather than when away. We are NOT using any external tracking services, so the app needs to identify the home network and the home routers you have to find the right ID to make sure the app connects - whether you use one router or a mesh network.

If all is done right, you should have a terrific setup and connection from now on. If you have any problems, simply send us an email at support@owlr.com or use the InApp Feedback icon within the app for our team to work with you.

Johnson McJohnson here! Yes, once again, our team of intrepid developers have been hard at work developing new fixes for new environments.

This time - we are tackling MESH NETWORKS! Yes, these range extenders and repeaters have caused a bit of a bugger in our user’s lives.

Try it out if you had some challenges before moving around the house. Since we do not store any of your personal information in our servers, only you have control over your cameras and your network. All we are doing is making sure our app works well in your home.

Hello there OWLR fans! Johnson McJohnson here, ready to spread some festive cheer!

Things might be slowing down as we reach the end of the year, but the OWLR team certainly hasn't! Like Santa's elves we've been working around the clock to make the following updates possible:

-We've untangled some bugs from tinsel to improve the Axis 1034's camera functionality.
-We've boxed up the DCS 5222 LB1's streaming issues with a bow on top.
-We've wrapped up inline alerts which can now link to in-app feedback and motion alert setup pages.

Like most of the world, the team at OWLR has plenty of other things under the tree still to come and we can't wait to share them with you.

I know, I know - why another one?

Simply, we had a number of requests from the Overlords at One Infinite Loop request upgrades and improvements to keep with the religion that is iOS 11. That, along with an additional translation (Yea, Korean!), required yet another release.

Johnson McJohnson here and we are happy to share some very good news! The OWLR team has been working hard to bring you these amazing features and fixes. Here is the list of things we have modified and corrected since our last update:

-We fixed the snooze crash at server level.
-We have fixed wrong username or password issues.
-We added analytics for motion alerts and deep link flows.
-We have repositioned online alerts from the end of the list of cameras to position 2, as well as modified action buttons and colors.
-We added translations in French. Our French translation is brand new, and other languages will follow!
-We added support for Swift 3.2.
-We have disabled the simple password prompt for DCS-935L and DCS-2330L cameras that do not support password changes.

As always, send any problems you may encounter via the Feedback button in the application. We also pay attention to what you say positively too - so tell us what you like most, we listen.
