Myworkout GO konzentriert sich auf den wissenschaftlichen Konsens zu Trainingsmethoden und vermeidet das Durcheinander von Workout-Trends und übermäßig komplizierten Trainingsplänen. Die App legt den Fokus auf das, was wirklich funktioniert und von jedem durchgeführt werden kann.

Das Herzstück von Myworkout GO ist eine präzise Methode zur Bewertung deiner körperlichen Fitness. Durch die Beurteilung der Leistung, die du während eines normalen Intervall-Workouts mit hoher Intensität erbringst, berechnet die App deine maximale Sauerstoffaufnahme (VO₂max) und dein biologisches Alter. Dies sind die wichtigsten Kennzahlen für die körperliche Gesundheit, die wir heutzutage haben.

Dein VO₂max verringert sich nach dem 20. Lebensjahr jedes Jahr um durchschnittlich 1 Prozent. Mit der richtigen Lebensweise und dem richtigen Trainingsumfang ist es jedoch möglich, dass du das VO₂max eines durchschnittlichen 20-Jährigen erreichst und diesen Wert (ein biologisches Alter von 20) bis in deine 80er hinein behältst. Für die meisten reicht es aus, nur zwei 4x4-minütige Intervall-Workout-Einheiten pro Woche zu absolvieren. Und durch die Kombination mit Krafttraining wirst du dich weiter verbessern, indem du deine Effizienz steigerst.
