Too busy to read articles from your favorite websites? Sit back, relax, and listen up as news from any website is magically read back at you with adjustable speeds and multiple accents.
How does it work? Give the link of your article to Speaky and that's it. It will extract the main content, detect the language, and read it out loud to you. You can retrieve content from your favorite websites (RSS feeds supported), import files from the cloud (pdf, doc, png, etc.), or scan documents with your camera.

Speaky turns 10 this year! Speaky made its debut on the App Store back in November 2013 (about a decade ago). I wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone who is still a part of this great adventure.
This update includes bug fixes and all the previous changes:
- Font size is bigger
- Added support for Dynamic Type
- Added VoiceOver accessibility labels
- Added toolbar with useful actions when editing an entry

- Speaky now supports OCR for text extraction from a photo: take a picture of your document and Speaky will automatically extract the text for you (requires iOS 13 or later)
- Added a new import option: Import From Scan
- Added support for images when using Import From Cloud
- Added support for remote PDF files when using Import From URL
- Added a new setting to set the language of the document scanner
- Added the ability to manually set the language of an article

- Fixed an issue where text extraction would not work when local extraction is disabled
- Fixed an issue where home screen quick actions would not start audio playback
- Fixed an issue where settings would not save properly on iPads running iOS 13
- Fixed an issue where the HUD would not display properly on iOS 13
- Fixed an issue where extensions would not show the correct translation
