About Barometer & Altimeter Pro
This app uses the barometric pressure sensor built into all newer iPhones and iPads and features a Barometer for weather, an Altimeter for outdoor activities and a History feature with CSV export to track air pressure.
No ads, no internet connection, no trackers! Runs on your device only!
Keep an eye on the barometric pressure and be your own weather forecast! This little app uses only GPS (optional) and the barometric pressure sensor to calculate the barometric pressure used in weather forecasts. iPhones and iPads have a barometric pressure sensor built in so this app works completely without internet. The handy marker helps you keep track of changes in the barometric pressure and lets you predict weather changes! Air pressure and its change over time is a very good indicator for weather!
The History allows you to store pressure values over time and compare. With a single click you can export it all as a CSV file.
The Altimeter helps you track your altitude changes based on the change of pressure. Just set your reference pressure and altitude in order to use the Altimeter for checking how high up the mountain you have climbed (works for other activities too). Most users will simply rely on GPS for altitude information but GPS does use a good bit of energy, so this app does not rely on GPS for the Altimeter and can help you gain an estimate, even with GPS disabled (by default the App does use GPS for calibration, configurable).

Since iOS 10.1 the barometric pressure sensor works again on iPads. This app update is NOT required to fix this issue and every old version of this app has since started working again!
The update fixes a bug with the trend arrow in the widget and includes some optimizations to make the app use less resources.

Attention: If you are using an iPad, update to at least iOS 10.1. Earlier iOS 10 releases on iPad do not offer access to the barometer sensor!
Thanks for the continuing support and feedback. This is a compatibility update with the following changes:
- Update for better iOS10 compatibility (Swift 3)
- Widget in iOS10 style and with a barometric trend indicator
- Fixes an error where the trend view axes were not labelled
- The app does now record measurements in the history every minute while in foreground(!). Not only when "opened" or "marker set"

* Fixes an issue where users could not use commas as decimal delimiter
* Fixes an issue where the lower end of the inHg Scale was incorrect

Interactive Trend View improved. Now shows the exact pressure at the selected point in time. (interpolated in between two measurements).
Bugfix: CSV-Export now generates a real CSV file.
Additionally: Improved CSV-Export with dates formatted for your timezone and with your selected unit for pressure and altitude. Now also includes sea-level corrected pressure values. Export not freezing the app temporarily anymore (for some users).

A big update with a set of new features!
The continuous work on this project, that started with me just wanting to have my own barometer App, has now led to a set of new features that have been requested by a lot of users. Thanks for all your feedback.
I hope I don't disappoint anyone by announcing, that Barometer now offers one single (and for all times one and only) In-App-Purchase to get access to some of those new features. The app will remain free and all features you already know will remain free and available the same way you know them. This App will also never introduce Ads.

- Often requested: Analog Barometer can now show station pressure.
- GPS Correction: In case your GPS seems to always be 'off' a little you can now fix this easily.

- Barometer Faces (finally!)
- Face: Classic
