Friend Zapp

Download Friend Zapp to get to know your Stanford classmates! This project was created by Stanford students to help us all build deeper friendships with our classmates during these wild times!

Last year, ~75% of the Stanford GSB first-year students signed up for our pilot version of this initiative (GSBFFs!). Given the challenging times we are in, we wanted to broaden this initiative to the larger Stanford community.

How it works:
1) Download Friend Zapp and fill out a very quick survey about your interests

2) Our custom algorithm confidentially compares your responses with those of your classmates

3) Friend Zapp matches you periodically with new BFFs based on shared interests

4) Use Friend Zapp to text and video chat, so you can start building friendships with your classmates
