About Helitracking
Access to the application requires a customer code. You can get a temporary code to test the system and validate if it meets your need.
HELITRACKING allows helicopters on mission to communicate using three communication channels: 3G, Satellite Iridium, or Gotenna short range radio. The objective is to replace the radio communication between the command center, the helicopter, and the people on the ground, when the radio link is not available.
The command center has a global view of all its helicopters, their position, their trajectory, and can communicate with them through a chat window. They can exchange text, images, geographic markers, predefined messages ...
The interface is personalized for each client: we get in touch with your operators, and create a "tailor-made" graphic interface, dedicated to your missions. This ensures that you have an application that perfectly meets your needs.
The satellite communication interface is very efficient, with messages sent back every 20 seconds, thus allowing a dialogue in almost real time between the helicopter and the operational center: this allows the helicopter to remain in permanent contact even at the helicopter. above the sea, in the desert, in the middle of the mountains ... when there is no longer any working means of communication. The system does not require any helicopter modification, it is plug and play, even in its satellite version: it is installed in 5 minutes before the mission and does not require any training.

- A new "start of fire" marker has been added to the map: use this marker to inform the C2 of the starting point of the fire
- You can now GOTO a map marker, which will display the heading / distance to that marker. Click on the marker to open the menu, and choose the "Goto" button
- We have implemented automatic disconnection from the server after 24 hours: if you forget to turn off the application, it will stop sending position messages after 24 hours. An alert appears on the screen to let you know that you have been disconnected. This avoids overloading the C2 server if the backup tablets have remained on.

- When a new message arrives on the tablet, you now have a full screen alert message that warns you, with the message displayed in it. This new "new message" alert is more visible than previous notifications. If this new operation does not suit you, you can deactivate it in the app settings.

New features have been requested by pilots and added to the app:
- You can now choose between the "clock" or "keyboard" Time Picker, to choose the arrival time. This is set in the app settings.
- The size of the digits has been enlarged on the numeric keypad of the "keyboard" clock, for better readability.
- You can disable the "OK!" message notifications sent by the C2: this is set in the app settings
- Acceleration of the frequency of position sharing between helicopters (updated every 30 sec)
- When you receive a polygon sent by the C2 (for example a SAR zone), you can now click on this polygon to retrieve its name and the geographical coordinates of the different points.
