Making friends after college is hard...
Herd is the app where you make new friends with the ones that you already have!
By using Herd, you and your existing friends (think roommates, coworkers, teammates, etc.) can coordinate your plans with other friend groups in your area.
Whether it is used to add excitement and spontaneity to your typical Friday night, find locals in a city you are visiting to show you the ropes, or maybe just find a few more people to join you at a tailgate, Herd provides a low-stakes way to grow your friend group.
What makes Herd different?
First, Herd is PLANS-BASED meaning no more wasting time with anyone not already ready to go out! Everyone on Herd is already excited to meet new people and grow their group of friends.
Second, Herd is GROUP-BASED which means a safer, lower stakes way to meet people. You get to experience the thrill of making friends with those already closest to you!
Together, these things provide an easier, safer, and more fun way to make friends venturing through your twenties.
Here's how it works:
1) Once you sign up, you'll be invited to create your individual profile. No forcing you to add hundreds of pictures or choose and answer a handful of prompts! Simply add one picture of yourself, enter your 3 favorite "go-to" spots in the city, and 3 of the environments you enjoy.
2) You'll then have the option to start a Herd, making YOU the Herd Leader! You'll be able to invite your friends on the app (up to 7 others) to join your Herd.
3) From there, the Herd Leader can enter plans that the group already has or the day and time that they're hoping to make some for.
4) Once your Herd enters that information, you will be free to explore the Discover page. The Discover page allows you to see other Herds that either have plans (and looking for others to join!) or are looking for plans at the same time!
5) The Herd Leader can start a group message with another Herd and awesome plans can be made!
