About AVIATAR MRO Management

Aircraft maintenance events like base maintenance or engine overhaul projects come with loads of information exchanged between the MRO and the operator – posing a challenge for both sides. In the midst of hundreds of emails, phone calls, notes and paper-based reports it is easy to miss the one information crucial for on-time delivery of an aircraft or the required asset. AVIATAR MRO Management is bound to revolutionize the way this communication takes place. As a state-of-the-art application it digitizes and streamlines information processes along maintenance events and thus helps you to keep your maintenance on track.

Airglance joins AVIATAR to become AVIATAR MRO Management. Being part of the AVIATAR means access to a huge amount of data from different M&E systems which will be integrated into the application prospectively. The new release also contains many improvements of the user interface and bug fixes or enhancements of the existing functionality. E.g. you can now also use the video conferencing function in the iOS application.

- Project Schedule (Beta version): in order to create a better overview of the layovers, an alternative view of the Project Dashboard was created that contains all layovers grouped by bay and ordered on a timeline.
- TAT Status Remark: project leaders of both the MRO and the Customer team are now able to comment on the overall layover status of a layover in the new Status Remark field in the TAT Items section.
- Work Center Diary: in addition to marking highlights as "Major", you can now assign a "Status" to them. Mark specific tasks as “Started", “In Progress" or “Completed" instead of typing it manually in the description.
- Milestones: in case you still don't know when a milestones will be achieved, you can now enter "TBD" instead of a specific revision date.
- Layover Information: to make the layover information more precise and avoid any confusion, separate fields are introduced for Layover Start and End and Aircraft Arrival and Departure.
- Bug Fixes: Several bug fixes have been implemented.

- Material Approvals: we created a new type of approval specifically tailored to material approvals which includes some specific fields such as Part Number, Unit Price and Quantity. In addition, you can now filter your action list for a faster and better action search.
- Invite Team Members: in order to prevent team members from missing out on important information, it is now possible to invite users from the opposite party to join a particular project team.
- Layover Information: to get a better overview of your layover you are now able to get additional project related information from the new Layover Information tile on the layover dashboard. You will also receive a reminder to start and/or complete your layovers if you haven’t done that yet.
- Bug Fixes: several bug fixes have been implemented.

- Redesigned Action Functionality: The Action feature contains additional selection and status options. From now on, also internal actions can be created which are only visible for the own project team. Additionally, the usability of the feature has been improved.
- Material and Action List Export; Material as well as Action lists can now be exported into an MS Excel format.
- Customer Survey: MROs can collect feedback from their customers during individual layovers and therefore easily evaluate the MRO’s performance
- Performance Improvements: For a better overview and in order to speed up loading times a project filter has been implemented for hiding and displaying projects based on their status

- Template function: Add your whole project team at once instead of adding individual members for every layover. In the Project Team section, the button “Save as Template” allows you to save the current team composition and reuse it within a later project. Template functions are also available in the Milestone section and will be available in other sections of the application in the near future.
- Work Center Diary: A new feature allows you to maintain the Work Center Diary more efficiently by copying information from previous updates. Just click on the button “Copy last update” when you are in the edit mode and save a lot of time. In addition, the Work Center Diary will be now be blocked for editing when another user is updating it at the same time as you. This is a security measure, which ensures that no entries will be overwritten and no information gets lost.
- History Function: With our new history function in the Action section you will be able to track what changes have been made to specific request, by whom and at what time.
- Bug fixes: We worked on improving the usability of our platform. A bug in the navigation of the Work Center Diary has been fixed and the restriction for the field length in the comment sections has been removed.

Filter function: With the new release, a filter function for all your layovers on the project dashboard will be in place! You can filter by Project, Estimated Start or End Date, Customer/MRO and Bay. Additionally, you have the option to display only the projects you are assigned to by selecting the “My projects” filter. This function allows you to customize the content of your project dashboard.
Delete function for comments: To facilitate the communication during the layover we added a delete function for your comments. In case you made a mistake or put the comment in the wrong section, from now on you will be able to delete for a short period of time.
Search function in team info: With the update you will be able to quickly search for specific team members when creating your project team. In this way, we are reacting to the rising amount of accounts and guarantee an easy handling of the project team for each layover. No more scrolling down though the users list. Just type the name of your colleague and add him/her immediately to your team!
Bug fixes: We also worked on improving the usability of our platform. No more bugs regarding logout button and profile settings!

From now on, you can receive notifications from AirGlance via email. Just go to the notification settings and decide what type of notifications to receive for every feature individually! Furthermore, now you have an overview of all layovers assigned to your company on your Project Dashboard. By simply clicking on the layover, you will see who the project leaders are and who can give you access to a given layover. In the Work Center Diary as a MRO user you can mark daily highlights as Major so that all involved parties know which are the critical tasks performed on a given day. Additionally, a more detailed overview of the Job Card Progress will be available in the Layover Report. You will be able to include the routine and on-routine job cards progress in addition to the overall overview. Moreover, you can select exactly which graphs you are interested to see in your Report.

- Our new feature Work Center Diary is live. The Work Center Diary can be used by MROs to inform customers about daily achievements on a work center level and to provide progress related documents in a very structured way.

- The redesign of the application has been finalized - A focus has been set to a redesign which supports the usage on smart phones in an optimized way.
- Several bug fixes have been deployed to solve performance issues and provide the entire layover information on the fleet and layover dashboard.
- A new methodology for setting a layover to the status "In Progress" and "Completed" has been implemented. This shall ensure a proper quality of information provided after the layover has been completed.
