Enhancements and fixes made to adding materials and LCUs

The keyboard when adding a light ID sticker will now automatically be set to capital letters to match the stickers you are entering. If your iPhone language is German, you may notice that we updated a few of the test notes (Beschädigung, Verschmutzung, Schutzhülle, Test, Löschen) on feedback from the 3M DACH team. Some security enhancements have also been added.

CheckMARC 1.9: Rainbow connection
The latest version of CheckMARC has landed and it is red hot. With the market changing in terms of what dentists put their green behind, it’d be yellow of us not to expand our library to accommodate all the colourful new options. With 1.9 you no longer need to feel blue, because we’ve expanded our library to measure more models than ever, including LEDC lights with additional wavelengths such as “Pink Wave”! And for those who were green with envy about not having access to our online dashboard beta, we’ve enhanced and launched access for all members of enterprise orgs; managers and sales reps. With all these peachy changes, orange you glad CheckMARC 1.9 is here?!

Tryin' on New Year’s dress
Yes it’s still December but we’re shopping for a new look - you may notice a subtle difference, the beginning of a full-fledged make over. We’ve updated logos across the app (and the company) here at Bluelight to show you a taste of what you’ll be seeing in 2021. Enjoy the sample size, because a new cross-CheckMARC dress ‘code’ is coming, so swatch out! Farewell to 2020, we’re looking (fashion) forward to 2021!

Movin on up.
Location, location, location! As checkMARC users head door to door, so does their data, and if there’s one thing to brag about in this new release, it’s the view. Open the side bar in-app to reveal a dazzling new option to head to a virtual information lookout! The new checkMARC data webview unlocks a veritable kingdom of metrics, and shows users how they’re keeping up with their neighbouring teammates. We’ve also added in-app amenities to summarize high level info right on the practice page doorstep, and fixed some dark-mode bugs that’ll keep users happy night or day. checkMARC 1.7 is here to keep our users moving, while also helping them stop to enjoy the view.

Little by little.
Improvements don’t always happen in bulk; sometimes one increment at a time is all it takes. To pack in more value, you’ll notice our dental materials now have “min” and “max” values for each increment of composite, based on the manufacturer’s guidelines. In checkMARC, energy is used to calculate cure times, but it’s important to be mindful of the documented irradiance values for each material, and so we’ve added this little feature to our large materials library, to keep our users expertly informed.

You’ll notice in our last release we spoke poetically about the merits of winter ending; in this release, we’re celebrating some good old fashioned spring cleaning. We’ve vanquished some firmware bugs that had survived the winter, and did a little polishing on our IFU link ups, to ensure your checkMARC experience stays bright and shiny.
